Due to the special pandemic circumstances and according to the Joint Ministerial Decree (ΦΕΚ αρ.φύλλου 4406/ τχ.Β 24-9-2021) and the circular with ΑΔΑ: ΩΞΠΜ46ΜΤΛ6-Φ3Π (Measures and regulations in the context of the need to limit the spread of the coronavirus (62nd CIRCULAR)
From Monday 4/10/21 and until further notice, the main points of operation are:
Opening hours: The opening hours for the public are Monday to Friday, 08.30-16.30.
Conditions for the entrance of the public in the library area: The users of the library should wear a protection mask upon entering and if requested to show the necessary certificate (vaccination, rapid test or disease). Throughout their stay in the library they should wear the protective mask and keep the necessary distances between them
Reading space:
The use of the reading room is allowed ONLY by pre-booking. The time spent for reading and studying is limited. The appointments available are: 9.00-11.00, 11.30-13.30, 14.00-16.00. You can book your appointment here: Appointment application (Departments of Political Science, Communication and Mass Media, Turkish Studies and Sociology) and Appointment application (Departments of Economics and Business Administration).
When arriving, you may use your own books as well as limited library material . The total number of books used by each visitor cannot exceed 5 items. Access to all library material is permitted only to the staff. Upon your departure, the books will be returned to the loan counter to be marked and placed in a 3-day mandatory quarantine.
For the other services (receipt of books for borrowing, interlibrary loan, receipt of articles, return of books, return of textbooks through the "Eudoxos" system, etc.) the scheduled appointment is recommended without being mandatory.
Remote service: Remote service continues with all electronic services and information sources available in the library.
